As bed and breakfast accommodation goes this must be up there with the best.
I understand the property was formally used by Rolls Royce as a Conference centre and to entertain business dignitaries etc. So it is no surprise that the house and its furnishing exude style and class from an era gone by. With a wealth of history to it’s name, this is just the sort of place we enjoy staying at.
The property I guess takes it’s name from the ruined Church, standing just 12 ft away from the house, where only the tower and part of the knave wall remains as a reminder to it’s past.
Our host, the owner made us most welcome and told us the history of the place.
The breakfast was excellent and I would not hesitate re-booking when we are next in the Bristol area.
All in all a fabulous place to stay.
