IMPORTANT NOTICE

Evening meals are available on Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are essential and require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

Former guests will see from the photo above that we have replaced our large singular dining table with a number of smaller square tables to give us the maximum flexibility whilst maintaining distance between guests.

Locally sourced and lovingly cooked ingredients served in the style of a country house party are complemented by a small selection of outstanding wines and cocktails. We offer breakfast and supper to our hotel guests and lunches to our conference centre clients. Please note that we ask for 24 hours’ notice on suppers as we only use the freshest ingredients and usually shop for them on the day of your stay.

We run a small ‘host’ menu changing regularly to reflect the season (utilising the fruit, vegetables and herbs from our very own walled garden) and the kitchen will accommodate special diets or even requests with notice. This year our garden has produced exceptional asparagus, rhubarb, strawberry, raspberry, loganberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant, white currant, blueberry, gooseberry, apples, pears, plums, carrots, tomatoes, courgettes, cucumbers, peppers, potatoes, lettuces, horseradish, artichokes, sweetcorn, figs and a variety of herbs. The birds have made off with most of the cherries but they need to eat too!

Our philosophy about eating at Old Church Farm Dining is to allow the ingredients to create the experience. We won’t experiment with your taste buds and force clashing flavours together in the vain effort to be different. We know the provenance of our food and sometimes this is an easy task as we have our own fruit and vegetable garden. We also use farm shops and (farmers’ markets) to ‘keep it local’ as much as possible. We are happy to recommend Buxton Butchers for their exceptional meats including 35 day (minimum) dry-aged beef and rare breed free range pork from the Belmont Estate. Our wines are sourced from Stewart Wines in Bristol and LWC (trade only) and although we are limited on space we hope that we can satisfy any palate. If you wish to bring your own wine then please alert us in advance. Corkage for wine is charged at £18 per bottle of fizz (champagne, cava, prosecco etc) and £14.50 per bottle for still wine.

If you are as passionate about food as we are then book a table.
