Video short from 29th July when the Balloon Fiesta held a press day and the wind happened to bring them all to Old Church Farm. My neighbour and I benefited from the customary bottle of plonk for landing in our fields!
- International Mini Meeting 2019
The International Mini Meeting is being hosted just over 10 minutes away from Old Church Farm this August. We already have bookings from mini enthusiasts, so, come and join them here – we have plenty of free parking!
The IMM site will open officially at midday Thursday 8th August and will close at midday on Monday 12th August. Team Bristol have lots of events and entertainment booked for the whole weekend which will include live music and games. There will be an extensive Trade area as well as craft beers and ciders, several on site bars and a vast array of excellent quality food vendors. The inaugural Thornbury Jazz Festival will take place on Saturday 10th March 2018.
The evening promises a range of exciting, exhilarating and varied jazz which will appeal to a wide variety of tastes, something for all jazz fans.
Bands booked to appear include The Thornbury Swing Band, The Mark Randall Six, much admired singer Jessica Radcliffe with the Park Row Five and The Class Act Trio, all happening in a jazz café setting in the Armstrong Hall.
Ticket prices will range from £6 for a single concert to £18 for the whole event.

The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials will take place from Wednesday 2nd May through to Sunday 6th May 2018 The event is staged within the beautiful grounds of the Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire a mere 14 miles away from Old Church Farm.
Wednesday is the first day of the ticketed event with our array of over 500 trade stands opening for business, the International competition kicking off with the horse inspection in the afternoon as well as the cross country culmination of the ‘amateur’ eventing competition of the Mitsubishi Motors Cup.
The event continues with Dressage on the Thursday and Friday before the thrills and spills of the Cross Country phase on the Saturday. Sunday is the culmination of the competition and is a Show Jumping test over knock down arena jumps.
